Jock Explorer Camp (suspended)
The droughts of 2015/6 brought an exceptional influx of game in to the Jock concession area due to the continued availability of water.
This concentration of large herds of buffalo, elephant, and the attendant predators, led to the decision to suspend the trail.
As the general game has rather “moved in” to the area and it remains very active, there are no plans at present to re-establish the trail. It remains possible to walk from Jock Safari Lodge. For trails, we suggest the following alternatives:
