TINY RUSTIC CAMP
Tydon Bush Camp is a tiny and private rustic camp situated in the game-rich centre of Sabi Sand. It is family-run, the owner hands-on, and the staff excellent, ensuring an authentic and hospitable stay.

GAME RICH ENVIRONS
It occupies a compound just off the banks of the Sand river. The experience is focused on sightings of game. There are significant concentrations of animals because of the water. The riverine environment suits the cats.

MAKES MOST OF LIMITED TRAVERSE
Bush walks are excellent. Morning and afternoon drives are extremely good and make the most of relatively modest traversing. Night drives are exhilarating and something rarely offered by lodges with shared land.

ONLY THREE TENTS
Just three semi-luxury air-conditioned safari tents nestle in lush vegetation, providing ultimate privacy in a peaceful atmosphere.

RAISED PLATFORM, DECK
Each is set on a raised platform with wooden decks and a camping table and chairs. Offered as doubles or twins, each is equipped with beds, side tables, bedside lamps, hairdryers and tea and coffee making stations.

WASHROOM, WC, SHOWER
Each has a private washroom with en-suite basin, toilet and shower.

BOMA COOKING
An open air dining boma is set around a campfire for lantern-lit evenings under the stars. Food is plentiful and hearty. Camp fire tales are tall.

DINING & LOUNGE AREA
There is a brick, canvas and thatch-roofed dining lapa for serving meals in a traditional safari-style setting. It also offers a lounge area. There is no pool but it may be possible to use the one in the sister camp outside Shaws Gate during the day.
