Exclusive wilderness comfort
Baobab Hill Bush House offers a private haven of tranquility in the enchanting forests of the far north. Built on the site of the Rangers’ family home, it offers exclusive accommodation for groups and families of up to 8.

Your own bush retreat
A single building provides entertaining and dining space and a fully equipped kitchen. An outdoor lapa (part covered dining area) nestles under the glower of a baobab tree. The swimming pool offers relief in the hottest months when temperatures exceed 40C (105F).

Private vehicle and guide
You have your own Guide and game viewing vehicle for drives, and exclusive access to areas including the magical Lanner Gorge. The location is remote. There is only one tar road in the 24,000 hectare expanse of the concession.

Beautiful flora
Remarkable sub-tropical flora includes groves of giant baobabs. Lala palm fringed floodplains teem with charismatic megafauna (herds of Cape buffalo and elephant) during seasonal migration. Walking may be available, subject to the availability of Trail Guides at the time of your visit.

Year round game
Game viewing is good all year round, but the area is particularly noted for its exceptional birding, which you can indulge in from the outdoor deck. Prides of lion roam the floodplains when herds of prey congregate in the dry season. Leopards are plentiful, if shy.

Elusive antelope
There are good sightings of kudu and nyala: you may spot eland, tsessebe or Lichtenstein’s hartebeest here. Look out for Pel’s fishing owl and numerous local specials.

Creature comforts
Four comfortable bedrooms each sleep two. Your housekeeper keeps the place tidy. There is a braai area to prepare food on the fire. A chef is available to prepare your food (which we can organise). You can dine at Pafuri Camp with notice.
