Basic bush comfort
Gomo Gomo Game Lodge is a basic, intimate camp with a focus on bargain value immersion in the bush rather than on the latest in luxury. Waist-high electric fences around the camp keep out nocturnal visitors. The busy camp waterhole makes this a good idea.

Good traversing
Traversing is over 6,000 hectares of Klaserie, unfenced with the Kruger and Timbavati, offering a variety of landscape types. The Shangaan trackers are excellent.

Big Five
There is a strong focus on producing decent Big Five viewing; the guides are persistent and your chances are high with a two night stay.

Rarer sightings
Game is diverse and there is a chance of rarer sightings such as wild dog, aardvark, and even pangolin.

Waterholes & walks
If sightings at the lodge waterhole are not enough, guided bush walks offer insights in to nature’s finer details and the chance to track game on-foot. Take a closer look at the intricate ecosystem and diverse fauna and flora.

Comfortable accommodation
Accommodation is in fully furnished, brick and thatch chalets, all with en-suite facilities and power points.

Double & family chalets
There are four double chalets and four 4-bed family chalets, overlooking the waterhole. All have air conditioning and the luxurious bathrooms are shared in the family units.

Hearty food
Breakfast and lunch are served in the open thatched dining room overlooking the watering hole. Dinner is around a log fire in the boma. Food consists of generous portions of basic South African cooking.

Pool with a view
Relax on the patio in the shade of a century-old Weeping Boer Bean tree or cool down in the swimming pool or on the surrounding sun loungers, watching game visit the waterhole.

Atmospheric nights
At night the camp is transformed into an African wonderland with kerosene flares, creating a safari ambience. The sounds from the waterhole lull you to sleep.
