More staff look after you, more directly, to reflect the greater lodge budget. These lodges are all in the
Sabi Sand or
central Kruger private reserves.

PRIZE LOCATIONS
These lodges occupy prize positions on rivers and near waterholes to produce good game sightings around camp.
MAXIMUM SIX ON DRIVES
In this price bracket, you are normally limited to six people per vehicle on game drives to allow everyone an outside seat with space for camera gear etc.
CONTROLLED SIGHTINGS
Whilst traversing is shared with other lodges, sightings are tightly controlled with no more than three vehicles in or around a Big Five sighting that has been radioed in. Sighting opportunities and guides that interpret them are generally excellent as these lodges are situated in premium areas.
SMALL, EXCLUSIVE
Six money bag lodges tend to be smaller and more exclusive than “vanilla” five star, usually offering a number of beds determined by multiples of six per viewing vehicle (6, 12, 18). They are stylishly and luxuriously appointed.
SOPHISTICATED EXTRAS
Additional activities may well be on offer for a premium, such as photographic safaris or luxury sleep-outs. Private vehicles are available for hire along with dedicated guides.
HUGE SUITES
All lodges offer spacious rooms with en-suite facilities. Most have indoor and outdoor showers, and some provide private plunge pools on your deck.
EXCELLENT FOOD
Food is high quality with multiple options served restaurant style in a variety of locations in and around the lodge. Over a multiple night stay, your dining arrangements will be varied to give you a taste of the choices available.
HIGH TEA, SUNDOWNERS
High tea is something special. Sundowner snacks and treats on drives are something to look forward to, with themed stops such as ice creams, springbokkie drinks and nibbles, Alice in Wonderland, Easter and Christmas offering unexpected variety to the otherwise excellent drinks break.
EXTENSIVE DRINKS
Wine and spirit selections are generally extensive, but do not aspire to the huge 1,000 bottle cellars of the ultra-exclusive lodges.
SPA & MASSAGE
There will be a good spa offering treatments and massage. There will also be a gym for cardio-vascular exercise.
