Mluwati concession (3 lodges)

Mluwati is a 100 square kilometre private concession inside the Kruger named for the river which, along with the N’waswitsontso, runs through it. Three similarly priced lodges offer differing styles of accommodation but access to the same game-rich traversing area. Because the area is off the beaten track, it can provide good value for its levels of comfort. As the lodges are small, demand for walking may be limited, so we recommend checking (when you enquire) on the availability of a trails-level-qualified guide who can take you out on foot into this strikingly beautiful and tranquil area as a post-breakfast activity.

Fly-in’s are available to an airstrip by the concession. Skukuza airport is 50 km away, as is the Orpen gate which, at game drive speeds, make them at least 2 hours self-drive away.  Hoedspruit Eastgate airport is a further 45 mins by road.
