CONFERENCE VENUE
Conceived of as a conference venue, Shishangeni is the main lodge on the last developed Kruger concession. It is reasonably suited to this purpose, but not really to be recommended for travelling couples or small groups. Its fly camps (below) are, however, a different story.
BUSINESS ACCOMMODATION
Shishangeni lodge can accommodate 44 guests in 22 individual chalets, all luxuriously equipped with en-suite bathrooms, outside shower, air conditioning, telephone, mini-bar and timber deck. It is very conveniently located for the N4, and you can pretty much smell the town of Komatipoort as the lodge is close to the Kruger fence.
TEAM-BUILDING
The modern conference facilities include unusual team building activities such as cocktail competitions, movie making, drumming, industrial theatre, dancing, and theme evenings.
BUSY DRIVES FOR BUSY PEOPLE
Whilst having its own exclusive 15,000 hectare traverse in the south eastern corner of the park, drives can’t be said to be the most enthusiastic and don’t tend to go far. But if you have to talk business in the bush, at least you can go out to break up the day,
