There are three trails which vary in duration and extent. All offer the opportunity to ride through the bush with just your small party of up to six experienced riders. You are accompanied by two armed guides on horseback. Saddles

STRONG PACE

You can expect to spend 4-7 hours in the saddle before enjoying a soak in the bath, a swim or perhaps a massage before some well-reputed home cooked food.

MAIN CAMP

Wait-a-Little’s own main camp consists of old style safari tents with en-suite bathrooms, mounted on platforms above the Makhutswe river. There is a pool and library where you can unwind in the heat of the day, and a massage room to work on those tired muscles in the evening. Dinner is a three course affair surrounded by African artefacts.

FLY-CAMP

Wait-a-Little’s fly-camp is situated at the base of a giant rock formation which you can climb to overlook the whole Lowveld escarpment. Cooking here is over the fire, a twist on South African classics.

XiDulu Camp

LUXURY EXTENSION

The third camp used on the longer trails is XiDulu in neighbouring Makalali. Built at the edge of a dam with a resident pod of hippos, it offers game viewing from your deck, the camp’s platform or the infinity pool. Riding in the morning is followed by afternoon/evening game drives here.
