VARIED BALULE LANDSCAPE
Chacma Bush Camp, named for the baboons that roost in the adjacent koppie, is located in 8,000 hectares of Big Five Balule-Maseke territory, close to the Olifants river. The terrain is undulating and rocky with plenty of drainage lines, ancient mica caves, and boulders strewn over the landscape.

Enjoy twice daily game drives, morning walks and secret viewing spots in this varied and relatively wild area.
SUNDOWNERS WITH VIEWS
There are some particularly good sundowner spots close to camp with expansive views.
GAME AROUND CAMP
The camp’s perimeter is hugged by mopane woodlands which attract varied wildlife. Elephants, bushbuck, kudu and plains game are commonly spotted and can be viewed from the comfort of the deck.
VISITING ELEPHANTS
A natural waterlogged area in front of camp provides animals with much needed replenishment during the heat of the day. Elephants are often seen from the swimming pool at the front of the lodge, where you will find a lapa and sun loungers for relaxation.
SLEEPS TEN
The camp sleeps up to 10 people. There are just 3 chalets constructed from a mix of stone and natural boulders. All rooms have air-conditioning, plenty of cupboard space and an en-suite bathroom with shower. There are mosquito nets and tea and coffee making facilities. Each chalet has an outside patio.
FLEXIBLE CONFIGURATION
Different configurations are available for different groups, with 10 guests the limit determined by the game viewing vehicle. The Klipspringer chalet can sleep a family of 6 and has an outside shower. Steenberg sleeps 3 and is next to the main area overlooking the waterhole. Grysbok chalet has two separate rooms for 2 adults and 2 children.
LAPA & BOMA
There is a lapa for dining and an outdoor boma area for campfires.
